I Wrote and Illustrated a Children's Book!

My Grandma Nancy was an amazing Grandmother, and an incredible person. Although she was bound to her wheelchair due to Multiple Sclerosis, she was still very active in our lives. She passed away a few years ago and for the longest time I had been trying to find the best way to honour her memory......I decided on a children's book!
My book depicts the special and everlasting love shared between a grandparent and grandchild using specific but relatable events from my childhood. The story is told using charming rhymes and adorable bear characters, and was illustrated in watercolour and pen. This story celebrates the meaningful time we spend with our grandparents and reminds us that even when they're not here, they will always be with us, fluttering close by like a butterfly.
I wrote this book to be enjoyed by all, but it is especially cherished by my family members. We all miss Nancy greatly, and I am so grateful that one day I will be able to show my children this book, to keep her memory alive.
